Hi I'm Rachel - proud owner of DogWise Wimbledon!

I founded DogWise Wimbledon in 2017 after leaving my career within the Metropolitan Police Service and finally made the long-awaited career change to follow my lifelong goal of working with dogs.

Being able to offer hands-on care to different breeds and temperaments gave me invaluable experience within the dog care world, and really flared my interest in creating a professional, caring and personal service to the wonderful dogs of Wimbledon!

I have two beagles, Violet and Axel and am obsessed with them!

I spend my week providing dog walking and adventure day services in Wimbledon. In addition I hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming, providing a one to one grooming service in a professional salon in the heart of Wimbledon.

Adventure Days

Our adventure days are a jam packed four hours of fun! We collect your furry friend from their home in the morning then head out exploring. Our day consists of two back to back outdoor sessions, beginning with off lead fun and playtime at our private and secure field in the Surrey Hills. Plenty of time to explore and have fun with their friends. After a rest and calming enrichment activities we head off to our second session of our group walk. Off lead time exploring woodlands, trails and commons brings us to the end of our day where each dog is safely dropped home.

We offer a full grooming service in a beautiful salon based in the heart of Wimbledon. Our grooming service is reserved just for DogWise clients, who benefit from a regular scheduled groom every six weeks, taking place after their Adventure Day or walk.

Dog Walking

What could be more fun than heading out for a walk in the countryside with a bunch of your little furry friends? Fresh air, exercise, time to sniff, explore and play. At DogWise, it's more than just a dog walk. Its a small, well matched group of little paws, building lasting friendships. We offer two hour long group walks day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

If one hour of fun doesn't seem like enough for your dog, our Adventure Days provide a longer day and twice the fun!

Rachel has been grooming our precious cockapoo Luna since she was a puppy. Luna is quite an anxious dog and Rachel has always been so gentle and calm with her. Rachel is clearly at ease with the dogs and them with her. Luna comes back from her groom looking beautiful. Such an excellent job each time. We often get compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend!

Rachel has been amazing with our Cavalier Lottie! Lottie joins Rachel's group walks and absolutely loves them! She's such a sweet and sociable girl, the odd meeting and quick play in the park or on the common just wasn't giving her the interaction I know she was craving! To see her happy little face with the other little fluffies out on her walks is the highlight of my day. That Rachel just has small dogs gives Lottie so much confidence. Private field - brilliant especially when we were still working on that recall!
